The British artist Alan Jaras, uses light to create photographs that resemble many of the
graphics that are being done, but without the help of a computer. With a light passing through
transparent objects such as textured glass, Jaras is able to capture these light refraction
patterns directly onto 35mm film, without using a lens. By using various color filters, he is
able to create amazing natural images of light explosions of a surreal time in which the light
is captured.
