Don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I grew up reading Mafalda thanks to my parents who are from there. I was searching for JCDC clothes, being a fan I was giving it a try to see if there was something around to score. To my amazement and luck, this seller was selling the skirt! I immediately recognized mafalda but I never knew that De Castelbajac had done something with her in his collections! IT was perfect, both of my favorites in one! It dosen't get better than that. I'll be posting an outfit for the skirt later on!
In this shoot I had loooots of fun with the shorts and the jean jacket. Both were DIY projects that you can see the before and after in the post below. The pants were actually long, but I thought they looked better short so the scissors were put to work! After a bit of tightening with the sewing machine the shorts were ready to match that jean jacket I bleached!
I took on an experiment with bleach with a jean jacket I found at a local thrift store, Electroshock. I have never bleached anything and although this seemed like a really simple thing to do, I was kinda nervous 'cause sense my sister meassed up a pair of her jeans. Of course we learn from mistakes and all my research was not in vain. After a day and a half of bleach, lots of water, lots of washing the results were perfect! Just what I expected! The next process is to dye this jacket into a bright fuchsia. Right now I'm so happy with the bleach that I think I'm gonna wear it like this for a while.
The best thing when I'm doing this shoots with my bf is that he always tries to make me laugh for the picture on purpose. I tend to be really serious and in this one he suddenly told every one of our friends to just jump right in! Everybody had fun while I was taking this nonsense pics :P. Win for everyone!

Same pants, but different look. Using and re-using, cause my pocket isin't big enough for so much. We always have to learn how to use the clothes in our closet in different ways, mix and match with everything we've got, instead of "buying" a whole look or a trend. Let your personality shine through! Later in the shoot I added a cap hat that I'm currently in love with! See below!
This is a little patch of grass around a main highway. Sadly there are not many trees left in the city thanks to all the malls, the parking spaces and people who just want to sell sell sell.
As you may have noticed from the last posts, for now, guess I only have time to do outfit posts sense they're quick and pretty simple.Today I wore my favorite t shirt! Had it for years and years. Recently the underarms became stained by my deodorant :(.... So I cut it! Took the sleeves off and DONE! New shirt! Pretty happy with the result.
I'm also pretty siked about those amazing vans. Got them at a super sale for $7 dollars. Haven't taken them off sense!:D
