Commissioned by Wallpaper* Magazine, the Disco Chair is a illuminated magical concept. Constructed from 200 linear metres of Electroluminescent wire, the chair transforms into a neon rainbow when powered. A pulse setting enables the chair to flash on and off creating an instant disco installation.

billybob M
Billy Bob is a magical friend who's born and raised by wild parrots in Puerto Rico, trained as an assassin who has a soft side for animation and illustration. He studied with me in La Escuela De Artes Plasticas and is currently doing a Masters in animation and storyboard at the Academy of Art in SF. He's part of a group of friends who have the best sense of humor I know, like a big cute cuddly bear who's excessive fluff demands hugs. Below a selection of his magical work.

bent

Ever since I can remember I've had different instruments that my parents bought me as a kid and through the years collected some growing up. Always interested in piano,a few nice keyboards have gone though my hands. Of course being a kid, I used everything up to it's full extent. So most of them didn't survive. Recently with my sister starting to take piano classes and a DJ friend who was teaching me to use ableton, my interest in keyboards and other music toys woke up again.
The last 2 purchases were a yamaha pss-130 and a contcertmate 200. The thing is that both of them are in their factory state. I want to experiment with these keyboards so maybe I could add some synths and bent them. Still I'm no engineer, maybe I'll find someone who'll help me. Below some videos of the same keyboards but altered in the most amazing way.

all black

I've followed Blackmilk ever sense it started. There are a few post here about the line to. Now, the mastermind behind the line, James, has released some printed bodysuits at a reasonable price or at least more reasonable than others out there. I may sin... Ok I won't, sense i don't have the cash to pay for this, even in all their budget worthy glory.

"Estos latinos son exoticamente calientes"

Ebay searches are always fun if your stuck at work waiting for the client to say yes to an ad that's been done for a week... Depends on what words you use in the search, interesting things will pop out (as well with etsy). Recently i got a bit nostalgic for holographic stickers that were at the mall for 25 cents. Well, being bored and on ebay, I found some stickers that I'm sure were around in the 90's. The ones posted here are my favs.

Beautiful song. A nostalgic melody that I would leave to somebody if I was going out of the country.

Hugo

Beautiful drawn images by Mario Hugo. Really Like how he combines a very organic drawing with rigid shapes such as the triangle and the cube.

deadmau5

The overly hyped mouse finally came to Puerto Rico. Why finally? After two canceled shows in 09, 2010 seemed to be a joke. He finally made it and happy people filled the grounds of the Arena Pier 10. Below a few pictures that i shot. I'll be uploading some videos soon, keep posted!

We didn't get the amazing light cube he had at Coachella and the light up mask, he still did some amazing sets including one to the Zelda game that left the crowd worse than they already were ( in a good way).

Gorillaz
I didn't do the gorillaz post yet. Guess I got into other stuff and forgot about this. Still the Gorillaz at Coachella had everybody with mixed feeling. People were happy cause they got to see the band play, we saw Damon and members from the clash and played great. Unfortunately, because of the volcano many of the artists that were meant to play couldn't make it. This really wasn't what bothered me, and aside from the Bobby Womack/stylo "metia de pata", this band was created with a concept, an animated band that has a story line. I didn't like the fact that with plastic beach they've been ignoring the original concept. The whole Murdoc back-up-band-excuse through twitter has gotten old. I hope that at some point there is a twist, that we'll say: Now I get it!!!... Yes, they are great musicians, but you just don't ignore the concept that your band was originally made on. GOrillaz, BRING IT...I still love you. Below I leave you with pictures and videos I took at Coachella.
