This outfit is one of my favs because of that necklace. I am mad about unicorns, specially ones that are colorful and shine away with tons of glitter. It may be the tackiest thing i own, but it's the best piece of accessory I have. I bought it in a booth at coachella 2010.

This was a fun find in a closing borders and the fact that a book like this ended up costing about $2 was the funnest thing of all. A music Poster book by Jason Munn, the style of the posters on some are minimalist, with great use of colour and space. Ass a designer, It's sort of a dream to work on music posters for bands like the ones in this book. Great reference and style.

This book has served me of great inspiration. I know I know, everybook is the same story. Blexbolex is a french illustrator and an amazing artist, a Nobrow fantastique man, a master of silkscreen. The title let's you know of the obvious theme of the book, "An abundant gathering of artistic word and imagery pairings evocative of several cycles of seasons". One word, one illustration per page, reminds you of simpler times yet complex and well done detailed pictures. I will say that this is a picture book for adults disguised as a childrens book. Any book designer, illustrator or artist, will enjoy this book from cover to end. A Solid addition to any library.

A book that I need to spend a few more hours reading, Avenue Q is a grown up version of everything moppets, but better. The issues, stories, songs are mostly about entering complete and full adulthood. To better explain here is a quote that makes justice to the musical: "...an autobiographical and biographical" coming-of-age parable, addressing and satirizing the issues and anxieties associated with entering adulthood. Its characters lament that as children, they were assured by their parents, and by children's television programs such as PBS's Sesame Street, that they were "special" and "could do anything"; but as adults, they have discovered to their surprise and dismay that in the real world their options are limited, and they are no more "special" than anyone else."

Kris Atomic is a blogger I've followed for over 3 years. Almost immediately when i signed up on blogger, I started to visit her blog regularly. A wonderful artist, who has a real talent for illustration and photography. If I'd have to imagine her, I'd think of a pale girl, with silver or white hair, fragile as a crystal glass. CHeck out her blog here.

You can guess pretty fast what this comic is about. Fables, created by Bill Willingham are amazing stories of various characters from fairy tales like Snow White, Hansel & Gretel or The big bad wolf, to name a few. They call themselves "Fables". After centuries of living in their world, they were invaded by an enemy and had to leave to survive. They eventually took refuge in NY, but sense they don't fit well with the rest of the humans, they created a clandestine community in NY. It really is great to see another side to the characters you grew up with, other stories and references from there past. It all adds up very well, I strongly recommend it.
